ART-EXPEDITION is an ongoing project dedicated to studying the creativity of people with mental disabilities, inclusive and art-therapy practices, as well as finding self-taught artists in institutions of governmental psychiatry, social protection, culture, and public organizations. Each year, the project explores institutions of one of eight federal districts of the Russian Federation.
CHARITY RAIDS are dedicated to regular visits to art studios at governmental and non-profit organizations to attract necessary resources and meet with our permanent residents to provide them with art supplies, food, and essential goods.
BUY OUT ART is dedicated to encouraging the audience, collectors and gallery owners to regularly purchase artworks by Outsiderville authors, as well as organizing a creative freelance work for our residents to improve their financial position.
EXHIBITION PROJECTS are personal and group exhibitions of local, regional, All-Russian, and international levels, usually accompanied by educational and cultural events (lectures, workshops, discussions, film screenings).
NETWORK OF RESOURCE ART THERAPEUTIC CENTERS is dedicated to the integration of expert, informational, methodological, organizational, and communication capabilities, expanding the list of participating organizations, improving the quality of services of art therapy specialists. The project is focused on the sustainable development of art therapy, first in the Volga Federal District, and then in other regions of the Russian Federation through access to offline and online consultations and training events. A competition of successful practices, inter-regional internships, and mentoring are also expected. Methodological support is provided together with the regional public organization Art Therapy Association, represented by Chairman A. Kopytin.
MY DIALOGUES WITH RUSSIAN MUSEUM MASTERPIECES is dedicated to developing art mediation and communication skills through lectures and discussions on fine art, as well as creating artworks. The project is supposed to prepare Outsiderville artists to become museum guides with their excursion ideas.
CINEBRUT is dedicated to regular film screenings to introduce viewers to the origins of outsider art. It is a great opportunity to meet and discuss boundaries, social issues, and aesthetics of outsider art.
ART-THERAPY SESSIONS are dedicated to field trips and studio classes for people with mental disabilities, experts, and a wider audience, as well as popularization of various art therapy methods.
SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS are regular lectures, discussions, round-table conferences with leading experts in psychiatry, art therapy, and outsider art.
