The first single of the Moscow experimental duet, formed in 2019. Platonic Love started out as a black metal band, but later went on a free, out-of-genre voyage. This single is a rethinking of the concept of the second album that was released in 2021. This single is meant to be a link between the band's early work and upcoming electronic releases.
According to the musicians themselves, "Dance of the Plague" has links with the authors' significant features: loneliness, numbness and despair. It was intended to be a panacea for mental illness, which has become musicians' personal "plague".
